The position will cover the COSL’s missions in the promotion of sport and physical activity. The COSL aims to contribute in all areas to the development of sport, physical and sports education, quality of life and health in Luxembourg, and will expand its professional staff to ensure this comprehensive and integrated vision for sport and physical activity.
Main tasks :
– Development of concepts for the promotion of sport and physical activity
– Development of expertise in Luxembourg through international collaboration
– Development and implementation of concepts and actions to promote volunteering in sport
– Close cooperation with the sports federations, governmental and communal authorities and any other relevant stakeholders in the field of sport and physical activity
– Coordination of events relevant to the field of sport and physical activity promotion
– Coordination of the activities and work of the “Bureau promotionnel” of the COSL
– Active contribution to COSL’s external communication in the field relevant to the position
– Involvement in the activities in the fields of competitive and high-performance sport
Required qualifications :
– University degree (Bac +4/5) in sports science or a sports related field
– Professional work experience in the field of sport
– Project management and team coordination skills
– In-depth knowledge of the Luxembourg sports environment
– Sense of responsibility, flexibility, discretion, team spirit and autonomy at work
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
– Fluency in English, ability to understand French, German and/or Luxembourgish
